Scott Stier, J.D.
Scott Stier is the co-founder of The Stier Group PLLC where he serves as Lead Lobbyist & Legal Counsel. Prior to entering private practice as an attorney and lobbyist, Scott served a decade for Texas State Representative Matt Krause (House District 93). Scott held roles as Representative Krause’s Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, and District Director. Scott graduated with a double-major in International Business and Spanish from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his J.D. from Liberty University School of Law. Scott is licensed with the Texas State Bar and the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.
Amy Stier, J.D.
Amy Stier is a subject matter expert with extensive experience nationwide in high-profile child abuse and adult sexual misconduct investigations, including work in Title IX. During the past decade, Amy has led a number of high-profile investigations, conducted policy audits, and provided training and education for a range of institutions including universities, churches, mission boards, and other faith-based organizations. She has received trauma-informed training on conducting investigations with a victim-centered approach. Amy Stier is a co-founder of the Stier Group, PLLC and owns Amy Stier, LLC where she consults with institutions on issues of child sexual abuse and sexual misconduct. She is licensed with the Texas State Bar and the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.
